Warren Eagles

// Brisbane, Australia
"Every moment I could get, I was in on an edit or the telecine and grading suite learning as much as I could”
"A lot of my work at my shop is remote without clients. They are either interstate, don’t have time to come in, or we have a good working relationship, so they trust me with their images. I get material on hard drives or sent to me via WeTransfer or dropbox. I am happy either way grading with clients or without."

Brisbane, Australia where he conducts both long and short form contracts. He is also available as a freelancer and is happy to travel and has worked in a number of different locations from North Korea to NZ, or Vietnam to London. Clients include brands such as Qantas, Ford, Tooheys, and numerous features and documentaries

"Grading for me is all about giving something extra, something that helps tell the story or get the message across. The biggest compliment for me is when a director says ‘I hadn’t thought of grading it that way and I really like it.’ If you can come at the grade with a fresh approach and add value, you will always be asked back."

Warren is also the co founder of the International Colorist Academy, a when not grading he travels the world teaching colorist software and workflows in a classroom situation.

"The ICA was formed in 2009, because there was no place to garner knowledge, which creative look to use, how to work with clients, and which workflow suits my needs etc"
