Marabigo

"What really makes us stand out is that we combine the best of both the film and the small agency world. We help our clients and collaborators come up with an innovative product that’s not tethered to the resources available, but expands the outcome and reach as creatively as possible. We’ve been very lucky to collaborate with such brands as MasterCard, Vera Wang, the White House, Bordeaux and artists like Cibo Matto, Kiah Victoria and Ben Sollee, who have all trusted us to craft projects with them. One of our clients described us as being “small but nimble”, which I feel sums up our ethos perfectly."
"We are also quite international ‐ having a team that is willing (and excited) for every travel opportunity, we love taking on work that brings us to other lands. We also recently moved our studio to Williamsburg, in Brooklyn, as to get closer to one of the biggest most creative outlets in the city. There is a lot of cool stuff happening here with art, music, and film that we’re aiming to be involved in as much as possible."
"We’re very fortunate to have a vast network of collaborators who hail from all over the world, which means that we can also work in different languages ‐ This makes Marabigo a global company."

"We are based in NYC, have satellite teams we can work with east west and in Europe, but we’ve relocated and shot all over though; including places like Singapore, Toronto, Dublin or within the states in all four corners."
"Marabigo has been in the works since we all used to go to NYU’s film school. Most of our employees and freelancers have been with us since the beginning, so any given day on set or in the office still has that ineffable, fun, breathless camaraderie that comes with making cool projects with your friends. The best part is that this network has never stopped growing ‐ we’re always meeting new people that we like to work with and adding them to our roster. We feel so fortunate that not only are we all still in the same circles, but we get to work together so frequently and still count on each other so much."
"It’s been three and a half years since we were founded! And we’ve changed so much since then ‐ we used to take many projects before that now we wouldn’t, we now like to find the best matches and collaborate with the projects we think best resonate creatively with us. In order to fulfill projects that are not full service, we also now offer boutique post services- for those clients who want to hire us for specifics such as editing, vfx or color.”
"We’ve done a lot of great work in the last few years, but we would love to move more towards fashion and travel projects. There’s a big push in fast content, and we’ve loved it, but we have definitely seen the benefit of longer production periods and better curated stories. We’re also looking into collaborating with more musicians ‐ as you know music videos aren’t the most profitable of jobs but we love the creativity they ignite and would love to do more in that realm."
