"My grandfather was involved in the construction of aqueducts in several parts of Italy in the early 1900’s, documenting his work through a leather lined camera mounted on a wooden tripod. I always try to find pieces of his works during my travels and document them. I feel nowadays, in the digital era, the chance to leave physical traces of our passage is much more difficult, everything is so ephemeral."
"I was born in Bergamo, My father is a property manager, my mother retired from her job when I was a kid; I always got the freedom to take my decisions, always supported and encouraged. I went through 4 different institutes during my high school period, I never really got a good relation with teachers and professors. Eventually my “relationship” with studies improved during university, where got a bachelor in Communication, with a master of science in technologies for Cultural Heritage at the University of Lugano."
"My first internship was at Interactive Educational Technologies department of the San Francisco Museum of Modern art. During that experience, I started cultivating my interest for photography and media, along with a passion for coding and UI design."
"After graduating I worked for several digital agencies, before moving to Unesco World heritage Center, where I was part of the digital team, but also had the time to continue my freelancing as web designer and interactive developer."
"Paris got me even closer to photography and media: there I started assisting photographers and video makers. They gave me the tools to develop my own taste & style. Was during the “Paris years” I also met Ivan, Bravò founder; together we investigate the fields of media, mixing his aesthetics and vision with my enthusiasm for interactivity and digital storytelling."
"Galileo Galilei is a character that always fascinated and inspired me: his strong beliefs, despite of dogmas and prevailing skepticism on his visions, revolutionized the world, literally. I like the theory of “hopeful monsters”, evolution is a matter of huge radical changes, often originated by unexpected and marginalized beliefs."
"As for where I am now, “share of vision” is the keyword. I am at Bravò, with Ivan and the awesome team, and we convey ideas which result in cross medial creative projects, again ambitious and challenging, but flowing smooth, every time. Our team is spread around the globe, but still we feel a strong cohesion and share of perspective on what needs to be done. As for the future, I wish I continue having the same strive to learn everyday something new that I have today."
